Despite the true identity of the artist remaining unknown, SOJUU is an alias that many have heard of, or rather, seen. He's best known for leaving short, cryptic messages, usually depicted by a single sentence along with a cast of comical characters belonging to the artist.
Having gone through a rough childhood, Sou Saito lives as a vigilant man with an unyielding resolve. He resides in an apartment along with his beloved younger half-brother, Haruto Saito in Kōenji, Suginami City, Tokyo. Without any other family member to rely on, Sou fully supports their living, taking on commissions and supplying his share of art. His work ranges from comics to children illustrations.His journey into the art scene began early in his youth, but he only started taking an interest in Graffiti art as he was progressing into his teenage years. His skills were well honed throughout high school and he began involving himself with the graffiti scene after graduation.He goes by the alias SOJUU, donning a fully black attire with a hoodie and facemask as he's colouring the walls of the city. His hair is gelled back to keep it from getting in his way as he's painting, and also when he's leaping over buildings and jumping fences to get away from the eyes of the authorities.Though working as a freelance artist, he never seems to be struggling financially. His rumoured wealth is never flaunted nor apparent. Word has it that he's taking on other jobs under the table . . .
